Happy New Year 2012

It looks like the play, Dollhouse has finally come to a close but I never say never:) It has been a great run of over 5 years for me. We finished the tour at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and then to the Majestic Theatre in Boston, Mass. We miss our theatre family:(

I was able to get into the studio with my voice coach, Doreen Ariola and record. One song is Silent Night and you can go to the video page to hear it.

My 16th Sweet Sixteen birthday was recorded by WCCO TV and that link is on the external news link page. I had an awesome day:)

Now to the next phase of my dental work. I am ready for the dentists to open my gums and cap the implants.  Once that is healed I will get my new permanent teeth. I use dentures right now and that has worked quite well in the healing process.

Someone had suggested that I put up some of my artwork.  Once mom figures out how to do that we'll show you some of my drawings.

Oh for Christmas I got a sewing machine!  I really enjoy my sewing class in school and also fashion and design.

I'm enjoying 10th grade, and my friends and my niece and nephews.

Summer was spent on my brothers boat alot.  Can't wait until next summer:)

God Bless your new year everybody!

Hannah had her dental surgery yesterday

Hannah looks like a little chipmunk today.  We are using lots of ice and pain medicine.  She had 6 implants inserted in her top jaw and 2 into her lower.  She was given an upper denture to use.  She really does look beautiful but I won't post a picture until she can smile and the swelling is down. Her dental surgeon said this was the hardest case he has ever done. Everything was so tiny:) He feels confident that he did a good job.

Last night was a bit rough and I slept on the floor so I could hear every sound. Today she is more alert and wants to sit up in the living room and watch some tv.

Her friend, Emily was here and that made Hannah's day.

She would love lots of messages.  I will read each one to her:)

She should hopefully be pretty healed up by the time we leave for DC in the fall for her play, Dollhouse.

Each day will be better:)

Needing help

I still don't know how this blog thing works but here I go~

Hannah and I would like to make a plea for  financial support in our fundraising effort to raise funds for our Potentials Foundation. It is a non ;profit,501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting families affected by Microcephalic Osteodysplastic Primordial Dwarfism Type 2, which is what Hannah's diagnosis is. They are now researching genes responsible for type 1 and 3. The organization was founded in 2007 with only a handful of families. Today it has grown to over 50 families in 19 states and 10 countries.

Our mission is to enrich the lives of individuals by facilitating and organizing opportunities for families to meet, providing information relating to known health concerns and specialty care, and furthering research efforts.

Donations can be made to Potentials Foundation c/o Christy Jordan

Thank you for your support.
